Pros: -Great picture
-Great line of accessories & mounts
-Awesome customer service. I had a defective unit but needed it back for an upcoming ski trip. They replaced the unit in less than a week over Christmas Holidays.
Cons: -Particular about what kind of memory card to use
-Took a long time for firmware updates
-Can't see light from top of camera to know when it is on (would be a useful feature for motorcycles)
-Some distortion at specific engine RPMs (minor annoyance)
Summary: I was skeptical about the camera, after seeing some of my friends GoPro wide cameras (low def). They had good pictures, but not great. I got my HD then they all bought new cameras too as the difference is night and day. This is a good product for the price and I highly recommend it. The biggest con is that it is very particular about what memory card brands and size you have to use to get the best picture. Also, it took them a very long time to release the promised firmware updates. These are minor annoyances.
I also like to give credit for great customer service when it is deserved. Mine stopped working within the 1 year warranty (SAVE YOUR RECEIPT) but I needed it for an upcoming ski trip. I got the RMA from GoPro's website and sent it out FedEx two day on 12/23. I got an email from GoPro the Monday after Christmas telling me a new unit was on the way and it showed up before New Years. A+ to GoPro. Thanks!!
