Pros: Cool features include Face Detection, Trascodiing feature (let's you transfer HD videos to standard definition DVDs so you can share ur video with the non-blu-ray user), and Photo Capture.
Cons: It's a little pricey, and I wasn't about to spend a thousand dollars on a camcorder, but there's a coupon code for 20% off on their website, (www.hitachibd.com). Pretty sure it still works, just type in SAVEBIG for the discount!

Pros: Three formats for the techno geek. 4.2 hours of HD recording.
Cons: Slow as a dog, ugly as a stubble, pricey discs, no ear plug or spkr output, did I mention it is as slow as molasses in February? I think there is a good chance I should have waited for it all to just be put on a IC. Sooner or later.
