"NOT HAPPY - DVD MEDIA PROBLEMS"
Pros: ---- THERE AREN'T ANY .. IF ANYONE CAN TELL ME WHAT DVD-R'S WORK WITH IT I WOULD APPRECIATE IT.
Cons: cAN'T GET THIS CAMERA TO WORK . EVERY MINI DVD-R THAT I HAVE TRIED FORMATED FINE BUT ERRORS HAPPENED WHEN I STARTED TO RECORD. THEY TOLD ME TO TRY MAXELL MEDIA WENT TO 7 STORES AND NO-ONE CARRIED IT... HOWEVER EVEN THE DVD-RAM DISK THEY ENCLOSED DIDNT WO

"Excellent features but limited functionality"
Pros: Excellent features such as on-screen editing, simple menu, light, more affordable than sony, higher resolution, excellent daytime recording, nice zoom, efficient design, easy to operate
Cons: Has no light, Hitachi has no video flash for this product, and you can not use 850A video flash either.

Pros: larger CCD than similarly priced models, ease of navigation,
Cons: poor quality shots in low-light situations, DVD-RAM format won't play on most DVD players

"records great outdoors but not indoors"
Pros: Easy to operate once out of the box. Recordings from outdoors are great. Easy to to hook up and view on TV. Thumbnail selections are a breeze.
Cons: Manual could be easier to comprehend. Recordings indoor really sucked. Not pleased at all. Returned camcorder.

Pros: burns to dvd, should be good editing onboard comfort 18 times optical good first impression
Cons: reality hits poor image quality worst software package i have yet encountered absolute no ease of use with xp no intention to have cross system drivers! NTSC only, get real! 200 dollar digital cameras have more options! And service what service
