"Great Product"
Pros: Sleek design, compact strap, high resolution screen, GREAT PRICE
Cons: Battery Life
Summary: It is not time to tell the truth about this camera. I have 2 cameras now, A Sony Handycam, and the Hitachi. The Sony has the worst design, and shell I have ever seen in my life, and I almost regret buying it compared to the Hitachi. This model has given me everything I wanted for a reasonable price of only $480, while the handycan costed me nearly $800. I can buy 2 Hitachis with that price. The camera supports DVD RAM, compact strap, good zoom, sound, fair picture quality, and an extremely powerful LCD screen that can be used as a flashlight. Yes, the battery life is only an hour, but they sell hundreds of extra batteries, and you're better off buying a couple anyway.. The other cams are about the same.
However, we all do know that cams these days can have batteres that can last for days, but these companies in Japan purposly make the battery mediocre, so we are forced to buy more batteries.
I give it a 9.0/10
Cnet, how'd you come with a 5.8?
