"Very Nice Video"
Pros: Nice and compact. The menus are easy to use. Lots of options for output
Cons: Crappy software. Have to create playlists to get it to work with iMovie 08
Summary: I bought this as a store demo very inexpensively so the price was not an issue for me. I took it to Disney and kept it in my pocket the whole time. The Video quality is great, the photos are just o.k.. The video is easy to download through the firewire connection into my IMac. If I had to use the included software I would be pulling my hair out. Although I was looking to buy a Cannon, but at the price I paid for this I was willing to try it out. I am pleased that i did.

Captain Vegetable,
I have a question for you. When you watch your videos, are you thoroughly impressed with the qualtity? I bought on eof these also, and I can't explain it, but it is as if there is a gray shield between me and the image. I also own a Sony HDR-SR-11 and the images are crisp and clear, especially in bright light. Lousy in lowlight, I find the JVC a little bit better at night than Sony.
I guess I don't find the images on the JVC popping out at me like I expected.
Take care,
Scott
