"Nice HD camcorder, with some limitations" By sunnybrook99

Pros: Decent batter life. Good quality video. I like the body of the camera better than the other ones I looked at.

Cons: It doesn't play well with my Mac. Getting the videos transfered using iMovie 08 is possible, but it is not an easy process. iMovie 09 may be better. The whole importing process from camera to computer is rather cumbersome and time consuming.

Summary: This camera works for me. I've had it for almost 2 years and so far I've enjoyed using it.

"Editing sucks, I hate the .TOD files, I want a Canon" By Ferlon

Pros: I like the look

Cons: I don't like focusing with the joystick, editing with the type of files they use is not the best.

Summary: After looking at this model compared to canon, I should have gotten a canon and that is what i am about to do when their new line comes out in march. I just don't like this camcorder.
