  • "AMAZING CAMERA!"
    on by nickpennine

Pros Amazing crisp picture, nice compact size, attractiveness, variety in colors, detatchable battery

Cons The wiststrap is too short

Summary I love this camera because of like HD quality without having too spend a lot of money for a professional camera, I would reccomend this to a friend.

  • "ok camera but wanted more for the money"
    on by pikago

Pros this camera is good for basic video shooting the zoom is awsome and focus works well video file size is ok avg 1 second=1.1 MB

Cons the screen connector ribbon got pulled loose and it seems its a frequent issue with this model of camera after about only 5 months

Summary the video is good and i love the zoom but the durability of the screen cable needs to be addressed as that seems too flimsey

  • "Great introductory camera."
    on by mfg2414

Pros Just about everything for a first time inexpensive video/still picture camera.

Cons If I find any I will tell you.

Summary I do not know who wrote the review for cnet but who ever it was never used it. In the CONs they mentioned no image stabilization, well it does, called DIS (Digital Image Stabilization). Second they said it had no input, wrong again, you can either input from any VISTA computer via USB or directly to the memory card, not sure why you want to SEND to a camera but this one you CAN. Lastly, I am not sure there are many out there spending $200 or more for a video camera for uTube use only. Both my wife and I love the unit and she, being one of the most electronically challenged persons I know, found it very easy to use.

  • "Very Nice Camcorder"
    on by scarface116

Pros Dual SD card slot capabilites
Bigger Image sensor (CCD) than most standard camcorders around that price.
    AV input.
    Great software.
    Great choice of colours.

Cons None, great value for money if you are on a budget.

Summary Bigger image sensor than standard entry camcorders. They use 1/6" and most brands use 1/8".The bigger the image sensor the better the image quality.

Dual SD card slots. Great idea if you need the capacity and want the reliability of memory cards. It is also cost effective. For example at the moment 2 x 16GB cards are cheaper than a 32 GB SD card. When 32GB SD cards come down in price then buy both of them and get 64GB. Great idea.

AV input. The only SD card camcorder with AV input. Think about what you can do with this. Archive all your old tapes and footage into the camcorder and then digitally remaster and burn to DVD.

The software allows you to burn to DVD, Upload to You tube and I-Tunes. Great archive and playback solutions.

Nice colours and the camcorder is coated entirely not half like other brands.

I cant wait until it comes out.
