"Greaty for Beginners Outside"
Pros: Shoots good while in brightly lighted areas and very nice zoom.
Cons: TERRIBLE in night/low-light areas, dual LED lights on front do absolutely nothing to fix that either, and so-so battery life, no place for extarnal mic or light
Summary: In all I can live with this camcorder until I get a new one. I hate shooting inside of a room unless it is very well lit. Manual focus is somewhat easy to use, and the manual exposure mode is not effective at all. Now it does take fabulous shots when outside in the light, I have no problem there.
One other thing I'm not too fond of is the fact there's no shoe on top to place a light or an external microphone.
