"Quality of image over output cables is unaccecptable"
Pros: Light weight, good in different lighting situations
Cons: Quality of image export is unaccecptable
Summary: I loved this camera when I first bought it, until I looked at the output quality. It failed to match the quality of the video as seen in the viewer on-camera. Back to the store - opened another one - same story. The Mini DV tape has the image on it - just can't get it out of the camera! Plays much better on other Mini DV units. If one can't get images out of the device with good quality, what good is it? Tried both outputs, and cleaned the head ... no dice.
