Pros: I have no pros for this JVC product.
Cons: My JVC camcorder is averaging a trip back to the shop per every two tapes. They will not replace it and cannot get it fixed.

"READ THE MANUAL, people... UNDERSTAND a few concepts."
Pros: Color viewfinder, ease of controls ONCE YOU READ THE bleeping INSTRUCTIONS, decent audio... great image stabilization - tapes offer great video (not compressed), some people might like the cute light - and the price is great.
Cons: For $200, it's not right to "not like" anything about this product. From a past JVC, I can concur that the lens cap will inevitably not "click and stick" like it does brand new, but I will make sure to push in on the tabs and hopefully prevent that.

Pros: it's small..other than that, not a thing.

Pros: Widescreen, cheap, high zoom, firewire port
Cons: Washed out colors, picks up noise from itself while recording, poor image stabilization at higher zoom levels, choppy video when objects are in motion, non-intuitive controls/menu
