Pros: the high def setting shows a good picture, Picks up sound quite well. The 5 meg jpegs are good quality too. Easily unloads to you computer. We got the higher gig Sd card. So far the battery has not been a problem. We usually keep it charging until we use

Cons: Not professional quality video but the stabalizer makes it easy to watch. It froze on me once and I had to use the reset button. That made me reset date and time.

Summary: I think it does what it was designed for. Something you can throw in your pocket or purse and go. We have a lot more video of our grandkids now since it we keep it wih us while we have them. Easy to unload and convert to MP4 DVDs.
