"Not as good as I expected"

Cons: Poor video quality if not on tripod. 5 MP still images very soft
Summary: Compared to other products in this segement this is probably the best device. However if you plan to use this in "active" environments that will require you to move around a lot while shooting this may not be the device for you. Any movement of the camcorder causes the image to pixelate until the camera returns to a semi stationary position.

Video quality seems to be good for me. Still photos pretty good. No buyer's remorse. I've had some issue with water in the mic and impacting video quality but I can take it back to Sears since I purchased the 2-year warranty. This is the most recent water video. Two of my buddies just bought one too. Be sure to watch the video below in 720 HD on YouTube...

If you record at 720, 60fps the jitter goes away to an extent.

I have had many compliments on the video quality of the 720 vidoes that I have posted on facebook. Looks even better in 720 60fps and 1080.
