"Should be made by a better manufacturer, like Canon."2.0 starson by kball35
Pros: When you can actually charge the battery, it takes stunningly crisp videos and stills, and it's as rugged as Koday claims... and maybe a bit more.
Cons: I can't get the battery to charge in the camera; Kodak replies with a canned and condescending email as if I can't tell if the battery charges or not. A company with this legendaryreputation needs way better customer service.
Summary: After I got a canned automated response from some computer at Kodak, I finally got the camera to charge a battery. I quickly charged two more, and they lasted through my daughter's two weeks of summer camp. On return, the camera won't charge again. Kodak apparently prefers I embarass them in public with the problems on this, an otherwise outstanding camera, than to correct this. And I'm one who'll happily talk up a solid product to friends and spread the word. I'm keeping the camera and forgetting it was made by Kodak, and I'm getting a wall/car charger for the batteries. If this doesn't get the message across, well ,there's always Facebook and YouTube. Gee, am I only one disappointed customer in this big old world? Guess again, Kodak.
