"IF you spend the extra money for rechargable batteries & a 2 GB card it is well worth it's small pri"
Pros: It will tape for over an hour and a half with a 2 GB card and using rechargable batteries. I PROMISE! It is very small and easy to use. You do have to remember that is sold for under $100.00
Cons: The light will not turn on when using the camera for taping at night. It will work for still pictures but this is not found in the owners manual
Summary: For the $69.00 that I paid at Radio Shack with a 20% rebate to boot this is a GREAT STARTER camera. You DO need to invest in rechargable batteries and a larger memory card (another $50.00 total) The movie camera works better during the day and you do have to be a little careful with keeping your hands steady but all in all I really feel that for the money it is a good deal. If you want perfection save up your cash until you have $550.00+/- to buy a really high quality camera. This one is just for fun. No worries if it takes a tumble or it gets lost somewhere in the fast pace of our lives
