Pros Good stabilization, good features
Cons Same as any camcorder-most of the time you will leave it at home.
Summary You can get slightly better camcorders today for lot more money with more bells and whistles-most of which you won't ever use. The shots on this one are as good as they get. Several pros that I work with recommended his one. Don't get fooled into thinking other cameras do better inside shots or that a smaller camera might be better. Smaller cameras actually add instability and a lot of movement to taking a picture-at the very least you end up needed to use two hands to balance. The truth is there is not perfect camcorder-I've tried many and various manufacturers. They all have flaws and the future is probably with digital still cameras that can take video-currently the video that they can take isn't long enough but give it time. Meanwhile don't spend a fortune on a camcorder.

Pros Love the size, position of controls, features
Cons Sucks in low light, don't even try it w/o a hotshoe light
Summary Love this camera. I hate all of the "up-right" cameras that are out now adays. I love this one because it is still sort of shaped like a traditional camera, yet much smaller. FAbulous screen, great menu system (reason I chose it over Sony's crappy touch screen). Love the Image stablization.
Wish there was a 10watt hot-shoe powered lamp that sold for $20 though, cuase low light stinks.
I hope this thing lasts me for a lot of years, because I haven't seen anything shaped/sized like this one on the market recently that is comfortable in my hand liek this one. I wish it had a wider wide angle because I've not found an add-on lens that I like that doesn't fish-bowl the image to the point of stupidity.
That's pretty much my only complaint.
Pros Good video quality and sound
Cons not good at night or low light
Pros Very good looking camcorder, small, lightweight, good quality video when conditions allow.
Cons Stock camera lense is too narrow angled, pitiful nightshot capabilities, extreme trouble focusing, manual focusing very limited, instruction manual not in lamens terms. Simply not worth the cash.
Pros Solid built. Great Image Quality. The viewfinder rocks. The lens is superior to most other camcorders. I cannot really complain about the motor noise too much.
Cons If recording in low light is important, go for Sony. This camera is quite big for today's standard, about the size of camera's 5 years ago. But, it gets the thumbs down because after six months of use I got a "clean video head" message during record, and
