Pros: Excellent video imaging and good stills. 11x zoom meets most of your needs. Playback video is of dvd quality, and I love shooting in wide screen 16.9 aspect ratio. Very happy all around.
Cons: life is short on one hour battery especially if you use the view screen. Turn off the screen and buy a 2.5 hr and your good.

"Great picture, great color, great camera"
Pros: I bought this camcorder about two months ago but just recently had an opportunity to use it much over the 4th of July holiday. The picture quality is really amazing! It looks more like a broadcast image than a camcorder. The color is great - really right
Cons: As everyone knows, the low light performance isn't all that great. Daytime filming in the house with sunlight coming through the windows provided a great picture. If you film at night you'll need to turn on all the lights and even then it might be a bit g

Pros: I purchased this camera for $580.00 delivered after rebates and price adjustments. That is a great deal on a great camera and the video is crisp and the colors are vivid. I have tried them all. Just wish it was a bit smaller.
Cons: Size.
