"Ignore all others..."
Pros: No other camera, not even the new Sony HDV cameras have the gamma curve that this camera has. What does that mean? Everything. This camera looks like film. Period. Professionals have a hard time telling the difference. In 24 fps mode (why would you
Cons: Audio is too sensitive, use an outboard mixer for serious work. Easy to bump the cine-switch, tape it. 30fps shooting looks ordinary.

A very biased review. "Don't buy any other camera!" how about putting ALL the facts on the table and letting people decide for themsleves.
If you wouldn't want any other camera that's fine. Maybe someone wants and needs interchanageable lenses and for event shooting a powerful 20x optical zoom.
You won't get either in DVX.
All of the cameras you mentioned have their strengths and weaknesses.
For you to blow off the other cameras like they were absolutely worthless compared to the Panasonic is ridiculous at best.
