"WOW! Best Bang for your $$$" By ericnigg

Pros: Lens, weight, Cheap SD cards, great picture, easy to use, phantom power and loads of attachment capabilities, loads of settings, IMPROVED LOW LIGHTING, great work flow, hardly any moving parts, and nice feel!

Cons: Disappointed that the 60fps doesn't convert to 24fps in camera like HVX200 and others? You have to adjust on FCP but looks just as good when converted.

No converting software without paying!

Cant download pre set settings like other Panasonic's?

Summary: The bottom line is the DVX100 was the most popular and easiest to use pro-sumer camera for the past five years. I love this camera and I think they did a fantastic job putting this together with work flow, beautiful image quality, attachment abilities, LOW LIGHTING! and cheap SD cards.... Expand full review

"Big Disappointment! Waste of $$." By IrisFocusZoom

Pros: Light. Low cost, nice features. Easy to use.

Cons: Audio and video are UNACCEPTABLE. Grainy image even at highest resolution. Hissing sound in both audio tracks (hiss is recorded along with everything else) and is very noticeable when played back.

Summary: I have learned 2 very important lesson from this camera. 1. Always try out a product like this one before you buy it. 2. I have been disappointing by every Panasonic product I have purchased.
