"Panasonic PC-GS31 Good GP Video camera"
Pros: Easy to use controls at finger tips
Cons: Low Light results not great, drivers need to be downloaded
Summary: I just purchased this model after my (very) old JVC vhs-c unit gave up the ghost. This camera has all the features you need to make good home movies and still photo's. Read the specs fro details. I can oly say the zoom feature is imposing. At 1000x (that's right) you must have a tripod. I could zoom in on a ferris wheel chair from 2 miles away with fair detail. The built in led light helps in lower light conditions (but not pitch black) fro close ups. My real gripe is the software (you must download) for PC use is bare minimum. If you need real editing features, plan on buying a good video editing package (like pinnacle). You may want to get an additional battery of greater capacity for longer tape sessions.
