Pros Small size and light weight
Decent image quality
Clear, hi-res foldout screen
Cons NO HEADPHONE JACK. PASS on this camera if you care about checking your audio as you record.
Also, video (at 1080p setting, at least)will stutter if panning too quickly.
Summary A decent enough camera, but I'll be returning it because it lacks a headphone jack. I've looked everywhere on the camera and scoured the manual, but it's true. See for yourself and share my incredulity, or spare yourself the trouble and go for a higher end model.
Pros Image quality, image stabilization, unit size/weight, lens zoom range, battery life
Cons The video editing software that's packaged with it is awfull.
Summary I have locked the recording setting at 1080 because the videos look so amazing. Any other setting falls short for me. I record soccer matches and symphony concerts and the TM90 does it all well. The stock battery lasts 90 minutes which is enough for me. I haven't used the manual settings much because they are on the touch screen display and it's impossible to make adjustments without moving the camera.
