Pros: I've owned this this camcorder for 6 months. I mostly use it to film stunt vidoes and the camera has held up to a decent amount of abuse. The manual and auto features are excellent. The built in 4 megapixel camera takes awesome pictures even in the darkes
Cons: The only complaint is that If you put your thumb underneath the battery with enough pressure it will cause the battery to lose contact with the terminals and cause the camcorder to shut off. I thought the locking mechanism would prevent this. Just a minor

Pros: True 16:9 censor, great 3CCD video quality, nice frame/cinema mode, manual controls, good low-light performance. My first choice was sony pc350 but then I desided to go with GS400 because of higher rating all over the web.
Cons: Need one more battery and SD card for pictures.

Pros: Image quality of 3 CCD's instead of 1 totally rocks for about the same money as a Sony or similar inferior. 4 megapixel still photos that rival the better digital cameras. You will not get better quality for the money at this point on any other makes and
Cons: The menu system could be better but its not bad either.
