"Great 3CCD camera!"
Pros: 3CCD, high quality video, 3.5in lcd, true 16:4 chip, frame mode
Cons: You have to buy an external light.
Summary: One of the best cameras I've ever used. Before I had jvc and older panasonic dv camcorders. This camera is great, especially true wide screen 16:4 mode. Most of the time I use freame mode, interlace is killing me when transfering to PC. Colors are also so accurate and vivid. This camera is not for those who likes to use auto mode, this camera is manual. It is much better then HC1000. When making DVDs you will be amazed how great the video quality is! GS400 takes 3rd spot on camcorderinfo web site of year 2004.
