    "Much better choices besides this one."

    Pros: The cam is fairly easy to use. Nothing fancy, which is good for low-tech people.

    Cons: It's nearly impossible to get video onto a computer for editing/watching. I've tried a ton of freeware and after a year to trying, no luck. I'm ready to sell it and get something more user-friendly. Tried Panasonic tech support, no reply to date.

    Summary: If you only want to watch video through your DVD player or on the Camera, it's self, this is your cam. Of course, you'll have a million Mini DVs in no time.
