    Pros: 30X optical zoom, good video quality in daylight, HD Time-Lapse Recording

    Cons: Image stabilization not sufficient; sound problems

    Summary: Image stabilization is not nearly sufficient for 30X zoom. It's much easier to get decent video with my new Panasonic camera with 40X zoom, than with Samsung HMX-H300 when zooming 30X, or even 20X. Another problem with this camcorder is that it records the squeaky sound of it's own zoom and, to lesser degree, the auto focus. Poor image quality in low light, poor stills. I returned the camera and don't recommend it.
