Cons Way too much money for what you get. The C-Net review is right on about difficulty with the buttons, zooming, etc.
Summary Like they said, spend a few bucks more for the Canon or spend less for the mini. Either way you'll get a better product.

i had used it in extreme temperatures but i have never dropped it.
i got it for the easy upload to youtube
but it turns out all i used it for was family vids.
i have had it for almost 2 years but it should have lasted longer.
one thing i must point out, samsung online repair is the most atrocious service ever!!!!!!
they said my address was invalid even though i checked it 20 times

Summary I was looking for a camcorder that uses flash memory (SD & SDHC to be specific), good battery life, and good in various levels of light. This camera overall meets those needs for me. The menu on the camera is easy to use, and easy to make changes to settings. It has good battery life, which surprised me, when a digital camera I own under the same brand didn't.
My only dislike is the software that comes with the camera. It doesn't have the editing features I'm looking for. It's only good for making it easier to convert videos to YouTube's .flv format. I'm looking for software that will edit .mpeg4 format. Haven't found it yet.
Regardless, I'm keeping this camera as it's overall a good camera.
