"Very sexy CAM"
Pros: MPEG4!; easy to operate; sufficient internal memory; very compact; great provision of cases, straps and cables;
Cons: limited standard battery power, expected some zoom with the external CAM, USB connection requires cradle, still working on live cam capabilities..
Summary: For the cost of the item we may be able to buy a still camera with more bells and whistles, but with limited video. Hopefully, we'll see future development of this affordable sports CAM with better lux/ low light capabilities, improved capabilities for file transfer, and maybe integration of other peripherals.
I have a few concerns about heat from the battery... CMOS external cam wires could easily be broken while loading batteries. Instructions warn us from use in cold or hot temps.
I've only had this for 1 day, but I'm lookinng for more. This should be a great tool for the average psycho stunt person. ...curious about its durability...

Save your money, I bought it and returned it 3 hours later. Video is decent, pictures look like they were down by a police sketch artist!

Bought it and returned it 3 hours later. The video was pretty impressive, both quality and zoom abilities. The camera feature was awful, very grainy worse than a $2.00 disposable camera. Some day SOMEONE will make one of these great little camcorders that really delivers.

I also have had this camera for one day, and agree with the other user's opinion. The separate camera module does not have the quality I expected for something advertised as it's strong point. Also, the time and date of the events recorded cannot be displayed on the finished product.
