"Poor dark performance, needs image stabilisation"
Pros: Easy to use, pistol grip a winner, great daytime camera.
Cons: Unable to use camera in dark conditions. The C1 is absolutely useless in the dark for both video and photo shots. There is no image stabilisation built into the camera (comes as software component but takes a ridiculous amount of time to process a video,

"Don't Even Think About Buying Until You Read THIS!"
Pros: Fisher is marketed by Sanyo of Japan. Their newer, better, model is Xacti C4 and not available in states. I bought on Ebay for under $500 and was shipped from Hong Kong. Takes stills at 4 mp instead of 3, has video image stabilization, bigger lcd screen,
Cons: This better version is not available in US (yet?) so if something goes wrong, would be costly to ship back overseas.
