"Sanyo C-4 - A bargain and an amazing little video/still camera"
Pros: Small, easily carried everywhere, pictures easily copied to computer with a standard SD card reader, wonderful 4 megapixel stills and surprisingly great MPEG-4 videos
Cons: Few cons, could use an "eye-piece" type viewfinder for outdoor use but considering the tiny size I'm not complaining at all, a wonderful, wonderful little camera
Summary: This is the neatest camera I have ever experienced. I carry it everywhere since it is about the same size as a cell phone. It comes with a belt-clip carrying case. Literally, I have taken video and stills in places that would have never been photographed because I never seem to have a camera when needed. This one is always handy. All that was said in the CNET review is completely accurate. Compared to a large camera it is a bit lacking in manual controls, etc., BUT the difference is so small when combined with the portability factor, I am surprised that everyone doesn't have one. And, the price is incredibly small but the value incredibly high. If this one breaks, I will simply go purchase a replacement. There are NO moving parts except for the swivel screen, the buttons, and the zoom (which works excellently well). The SD card slot is very accessible and it is a snap to transfer photos and video to the computer. Just transfer the card from the camera to a card reader and treat it like any other drive. E-mailing the photos AND the video is as simple as attaching a file. I am a gadget geek and I have rarely, if ever, been so impressed and satisfied with a product as I am with this one. I now need to invest in a DVD burner so I can archive the video to something other than the computer. We are traveling to England soon and this is the ONLY camera I am taking. It is an amazing creation! Be aware that you will have to invest in at least one 1 Gig SD card (about an hour of high quality MPEG-4 video OR 700-800 4 megapixel stills, or some of each). I love it!
