"Exceptionally cool" on by asiaboss
Pros: Easy, idiot-proof startup, good video, connects easily with TV and computer
Cons: Hard to find anything to complain about. Maybe it isn't the one they use at Pixar but...
Summary: Bought HD1a in Hong Kong for about $625 US including 4 MB card, case, spare battery and tripod. Was up and shooting within 15 minutes - anyone familiar with a digital camera can use quickly and painlessly. Despite what some have said, I found video quality very good with one exception - HD looks shaky on my HDTV. But I attribute that to Old Man's Disease.

"Less than one year -- three breakdowns" on by A Rich
Pros: Nice features and clarity
Cons: Awful reliability
Summary: I bought this for all the bells and whistles. The convenience of the SD card and direct access is great. BUT in less than one year, it has gone back to the company for repair twice and it has another problem. No matter how sweet features are, they're not worth much when you can't rely on the product.

"Almost there but not quite ey..." on by joejoe123
Pros: Easy to use, Solid look and feel,
Cons: Large for a flash camera, Terrible in door, poor low light, poor focus
Summary: I really wanted this camera, bought it and I had to bring it back in two days.
Almost unusable in doors, Could not get the HD files to play correctly with the supplied software, SD files play fine. Image is less than you expect from HD.
At the size this camera is they should be able to fit a microdrive in there to increase video time
