Sanyo Xacti VPC-HD700 (Silver)

Summary: ok. I bought the red form of this from amazon for 300 bucks. I have made a ton of movies with this and get a lot of compliments on the quality. i also got an aftermarket wide angle lens. the thing is hard to hold steady but use a monopod or something like the 14 dollar steadycam and the result is great. the main thing is that you will really use this camera as it is small enough to fit in your pocket. i do recommend the 20 dollar case that you can get from sanyo (it has a belt clip) and put a rubber band around it to keep in the case. Also get an 8 GB card so you dont have to worry about the size of your movies. i did have one problem when i recorded a movie once and on payback the sound was distorted. after the unit warmed up a little later the distortion went away.
