Summary: This has been a great camera for basic use. It does have a standard thread for a tripod, so you can put it on any of them. When on a tripod, the camera focuses extremely well, however you can hear it focusing in an out in the playback if you move it around while using it. Also has a micro HDMI output, however I wouldn't use it much. The touchscreen isn't super sensitive, which is nice because you don't accidentally push buttons when you're trying to line up a shot. The biggest con is the lack of a micro SD port, and it would be nice to have wifi and such, but what can you expect for the base model? They do have versions available with all the bells and whistles too.
