Excellent, but hard to edit ..

Pros: The camera is excellent. Stable sharp pictures with excellent exposure and colors.

Cons: Editing is limited to Sony's software. Have not yet figured out how to read the movie into other movie editing software, which all assume DV-tape media.

Great picture, not much else.

Pros: The picture is great.

Cons: Storage space on dvds is limited. Not Mac compatable. Editing software that's included stinks.

Can;t capture video or merge to standard DVD

Pros: Good product, but has one huge down side.

Cons: There is way to get those little DVD-RW's merged onto one 4.7 Gig DVD-R/W. There are no softwarepackages out there that do this. I called Sony, they had no opinion and provided no help. I can't return it anymore, so I will sell it and take the loss.

Yo!! Sony DVD 2003!!

Pros:

Cons:

Review: Left side of the model looks cool enough but on the right side is a bit let down(look like canon shape). The DCR-DVD200 delivers gross pixel resolutions of 1,070,000 and 690,000 (effective) for video and 1,000,000 (effective) for still images. Recording times are up to 60 minutes and both models, which do not use disc cartridges, will accept 8cm DVD-R and DVD-RW discs. Both products are fitted with Carl Zeiss lenses with zoom ratios of 10 x (optical) and 120 x (digital) and are fitted with 2.5" LCD screens 123,200 pixels. Not much difference from the DCR-TRV33E, except for the DVD-r/DVD-rw. i hope sony can increase the number on the optical zoom and digital zoom. which does not have accessories for the extra zoom. umm, LCD touch panel??
