Pros Ease of operation, suprisingly good quality images and sound, 16:9 aspect works fine on big screen TV although not HD recorder quality, very light and compact.

Cons Hard to find faults, as it does as expected, a bit limited in lower light situations, and still photo quality is poor (then again I didn't buy it for that).

Summary I wanted a compact flash camcorder for holiday and general use without too much of a spend, but also wanted a unit with a good lens, and this has a Zeiss lens so it ticks that box. It was easy to get good results quickly with the DCR-SX60.
