Pros: DVD format
Cons: ImageMixer for PC editing. If you plan on editing movies on your PC with the DCR-DVD200, stay away from DCR-DVD200. I was so fustrated trying to download and edit movies on my PC that I have considered breaking the camcorder before returning it to BestBuy

Pros: - Price is good, compared to a comparable Sony midi-DV camcorder, for a quality almost as good - Large 3.5" screen is bright enought for outdoors, and the 180 degrees swivel is great to watch yourself while recording ! - Convenience of ready-to-play DVD -

"good product;good video quality"
Pros: Easy to use. Good video quality produced. Love the idea of just popping it in my DVD player and see instant results.
Cons: I cannot find the 60 minute DVD anywhere. It looks like its in Europe but not in the states so can only record for thirty minutes in standard play mode. Hopefully the 60 minute disc will come out soon.

Pros: Easy to use. After reading other reviews on the on similiar camcorders (without DVD format) thought noise would be a problem. But thesound quality is terrific. The picture quality is also first-rate.
Cons: Length of CD's-- only half an hour in standard mode.
