"Bang for the Buck!" on by MrMurder

Pros: Cheap, touchscreen, nice design, outstanding video quality (it's a Sony).

Cons: No HD video, older MPEG format, accentuates orange saturation a little bit.

Summary: This is a good camcorder to buy if you're looking for one that's below $500, but for a little more money, you might get one that can film HD video.

"good hardware issues with software" on by mikehenriquez

Pros: good solid design, great zoom (40x), good video definition (for the price), great price (about $350 plus $35 for the case), touchscreen.

Cons: software: touchscreen menu is hard to master and it keeps having problems with windos movie maker and LIVE movie maker, you need to buy firewire cable and PCI card since USB doesn´t wor with vista (about $30 for both), small screen

Summary: good overall camera but if u are looking for editting video before posting it on youtube you better spend an extra Benjamin on a SD comaptible camera, anyway good bang for the buck, im enjoying it!

Don't know what happened but all video transfer issues are GONE. now the videocamera is a DELIGHT to use so now it is at leas 4 and a alf stars!

"I am very happy with this purchase" on by th1ck

    Pros: Performance for the Price

Cons: No slot for SD card

Summary: Found this camcorder at sam's club for $180 at the same time it was on sale at circuit city for $100 MORE.

Camcorder is easy to use, and the zoom and image stabilization allow me to shoot decent video anytime. Microphone is okay, again I can't complain for the price.

You MUST use the firewire connection to connect to a Mac. iMovie can control video playback and importing features.

    EXCELLENT!!!
