    "Quality camcorder, but sub-par software"

    on January 12, 2005

Pros: Great features which are mostly intuitive, although it helps to be somewhat technology literate. Touch screen takes some getting use to - if you want to activate a 'fader' while recording, you are likely to get some camera shake from touching the screen

Cons: Most of the cons already listed by other reviewers apply. The software is poor and difficult to figure out, and the manual is little help. Some of the options, for example to simply burn a cd video, seem straight forward, but nothing is obvious to do a

    on February 18, 2005

Pros: Love the touch screen, so easy to use! Like the way you can take pictures in the camera mode while recording video footage. The end search is very useful. I think it's great that you can personalize menu settings to those that you use most often. This

    "Good Quality, Small Package"

    on January 12, 2005

Pros: Small size, good on hikes, skiing and places I never brought a video camera before. Camera was also able to digitize my old VHS tapes which could not be handled by my ATI All In One Wonder Pro (must have a good PLL because it syncs while ATI bombs out).

Cons: Picture package is worthless - buy Pinnacle at least. Sometimes it is hard to find what you want in all those menus - especially when you need to change something fast. Noise from wind can be a problem outdoors.
