Manufacturer description

The ultimate in chic portability, the DCR-IP1E is the world's smallest and lightest camcorder. It is compatible with Memory Stick Duo storage media, and has a mechanized lens cover that slides open automatically when the power is on. Using MPEG2 Technology, the worldwide standard for data compression, the MicroMV format lets you record a full 60 minutes of high quality digital video and audio on a cassette that's about 70% smaller than the standard MiniDV media.
