Pros: The zoom is fanatastic! 60x! The HD is 60 gigs! It's small, and easy to use!
Cons: Because it is easy to use it is a little simplistic but it's cheap and easy! No view finder, OEM battery is very small. Not at all matched with a 60 gb harddrive.

"Pretty Damn Good, for SD 720x480"
Pros: It's light weight (lighter than my SR 80)
Comes in different colors
Possible backup to flash drive
Video is better than my 2yr old SR 80, and has a wider Wide mode than it too.
Zoom is much better than 12x on my old camera, but...Cons: ... I cannot see how it's 60x optical zoom is really there. I would rate it at 25x at most
Battery insertion is not intuitive
Manual lens cover
No docking station
Strap is a little low & too thin
No mic port or accessory shoe
