stills are fairSummary: shop around for this camera. you will overpay at large chains. for the positive features i wouldnt pay over 350 for it. i found a new one for that on amazon, <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001QWIH4M?ie=UTF8&tag=egttai-20&********=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&************=B001QWIH4M">Sony HDR-CX100 ACVHDHD Camcorder with Smile Shutter & 10x Optical Zoom (Red)</a>, for 400 you can get a larger battery, mem card and a case. can you say no tax and free shipping! i wish it had a spot for a light or external mic, but i can live without it. i got it for the outdoors shots of wildlife. its nice and small to pack for a long walk.
