4.5 starson by spicegal9Pros: In Singapore, this is one of the cheapest Full HD video camera in the Sony range. This handy camera was showing the best recorded HD quality on a 52 inch monitor against similar priced Panasonic and Canon Full HD video cameras.
Cons: The Canon had a nicer LCD viewfinder than the Sony. Instructions manual not as good as Panasonic's.
Summary: If you judge a video camera by the recorded quality results only, then this Sony HDR-CX150 is real winner!! Some video cameras seemed to have very sharp LCD viewfinders giving the impression that it is equally great when recording but this is not true at all. Many video cameras especially the non HD video cameras are built this way but when is connected to especially to large plasma or lcd tv monitors, one can certainly see the blurring and slight pixelation particularly on 37 inch or larger. This is where video cameras such as the Sony HDR-CX150 and other genuine full HD video cameras come in and blow the lesser ones away. This is a genuine' best buy' for me in a long time.
