    Pros: 80GB storage

    Cons: Low zoom
    Lower bit rate recording (16Mbs)
    Bulky
    Weak faded picture.

Summary: I had a look at one in a store and I wasn't impressed. I was in the market for a HD camcorder and did my own comparisons in store. The picture quality from HDR-CX100 looked similar to the HDR-XR100, both having a pale look with their image. In my comparisons I found that there were other brand camcorders with a better image, larger optical zoom and higher bit rate recording. They were all around the same price too. However what I did like on the XR100 was at least it had some on board storage 80GB unlike the 8GB on the CX100.
