Pros Lori Grunin your review is a cut and paste. There is no difference for your reviews on the hdr-cx150 and the hdr-xr150

Summary There is not any difference between the reviews for the hdr-cx150 and the hdr-xr150.
The good: Compact; lens focuses relatively fast.
The bad: Merely OK video quality; worse-than-expected lens flare problems in bright sunlight.
The bottom line: Its small size and attractive price might draw you to the Sony Handycam HDR-CX150, but this bare-bones camcorder just barely delivers on the promise of HD quality.
Pros Perfect size as well as manual and touch screen functionality. It allows the user to continue recording video and snap pictures as well during the video recording process. You can also extract pictures from the videos after they have been completed.
Cons I have not found anything I don't like about this recorder yet.
Summary Worth the investment and worth the price. I paid $522 on sale but the average price is $699 which is still worth it.
"Not happy."on by tommydamani
Pros Menu is nice to use
Cons I'm so frustrated that all of my HDR-XR520 Sony camcorder 4 hour batteries (which i bought only 6 months ago) won't fit on this camcorder.
Summary Sony I'm not buying your product anymore. I've noticed they made the casing smaller (the section where the battery goes) so that the other batteries you already have won't slip in to the new camcorder. Maybe to get more money from consumers so that we buy a new batch of batteries? Maybe to stress eBay sellers selling after market batteries being used? What ever the case is Sony you have pee'd us off and have lost another customer. It's a shame cnet didn't pick up on this as i've always trusted cnet as my information source before i buy
