Summary: Absence of mic in and headphones out (please amend your review, CNET!) is a show-stopper for me. Audio quality is key to good video, and this camera ignores that. Otherwise, it's another fine Sony product.

Sony makes nice mics and lights that fit the hot shoe...perhaps this is what Cnet meant? I am going to buy a few of the options for this camera: mic (for when our 7 mo old starts his sports career!), light and some camera lenses/filters. I'm excited about this new camera!
