Pros: like the size and pro look of this camera with one hugely notable exception, i really like it.
Cons: Like the camera, but it is grainy... very grainy and i can't figure out if something could be set wrong or if it too a blow in shipping or never made it out of the factory ok. very frustrating. manual is of absolutely no help.

"Great Camera-Great quality for the pocket money spent!"
Pros: I use to have a JVC 110u for double the money of the Sony 1000u but the Sony to me is running neck & neck with more expensive cameras.I added a JuicedLinked xlr adapter and "boom" this camera is just right.Picture quality is great easy to manuver!
Cons: No xlr's but add a xlr adapter like juicedlink or beachtec you will be ok. I bet next year or two Sony will add xlr's and jack up the price on this camera-just wait!!
