    "A complicated setup SV-AV100"

    Pros: Very nice image sound ect..

    Cons: Software & firmware problems

    Summary: This camera is definitely worth buying.

    There are two things you should download before you pick one up:

    Get the update for the software that comes with the camera so you can burn DVD?s

    Get the firmware for the camera so you cam record MPEG2 videos on non-Panasonic SD cards, otherwise you will get the following: "cannot record in mpeg2 mode"

    With these modifications you should have little to complain about...with a 1gb card that sells for 70$ you will get 43min of standard MPEG2.

    Also, this camera allows you to record TV shows and watch them later...like a mini DVD player.
