"Canon ZR60 with 20% fail rate in first year"
Pros: Cheap and easy to use. Canon is usually good.
Cons: I bought 10 of these cameras. 2 of them failed in less than one year. One with screen display problems and another that locked on its menus and I could not get around it. I brought to Canon in Canada for repair 13 months after purchase. They honoured

Pros: Inexpensive,small,easy to use.
Cons: Very poor quality movies in low light. Looks like 1970s home movies. Plus, battery seems to just die with no warning.

"Great for converting VHS to DVD"
Pros: A primary reason for purchasing this camera was it was relatively inexpensive and would help me convert my VHS home movies to DVD. I'm now using it in that capacity and burning beautiful DVD archives of my kids from 10 year old VHS tapes. It also works

"Camera failed after a few months"
