"The $700 two year camera"
Pros: Good quality of video...in natural sunlight
Cons: Grainy video in the least amount of darkness, poor sound, dismal snapshot capabilities, stops working after two years
Summary: I have read more than one account of Canon's POS ZR70MC breaking down after two years of light to moderate usage. The video capture on my camera is now non existent, thanks to some type of design flaw that wasn't addressed by Canon. I cannot bring myself to recommend this or any other Canon product to other consumers for fear that the product will run out the warranty and break down. Amazon users are screaming about this particular flaw, and I've seen at least one of these little jewels for sale on ebay for the same reason. I just bought a digital camera, but guess what brand it WASN'T!
