Sweet camcorder for under $300
Pros: Easy to operate,good indoors sofar.I got the Canon ZR80 about a week ago and have been having a blast! The unit comes with a camera that will run for about an hour but I decided to splurge on the higher capacity battery. My last camcorder was an 8mm Sony

good value for a basic camera
Pros: Only 270 dollars! Good quality video, can shoot anamorphic for wide-screen playback. Very simple to use. In-line analog to digital converter is a nice bonus. Eyepiece rotates up so you can cradle the camera while shooting.
Cons: No external microphone input, plastic construction. Manual focus is just about impossible to use.

Pros: i was looking for at least a month and this was the best one by far for the price. small, nice color, easy to use features.

POOR INDOOR CAMERA
Pros: EASY TO USE, LIGHT
Cons: Canon zr-80 When use indoor (regular light condition) the picture is very grainy. I tried several set ups and none worked. I have not have the chance to try it outdoors, but what?s the point to have a camera that performed poorly indoor. DON?T BUY IT!

Pros: This camera is great in usability. Very quiet operation (first person needs to return theirs). video quality is awesome on the tv and the sound pickup is great.

I prefer to use a simple camera and this is it.But it is small and easy to put in my coat pocket.
Pros: Small size and simple controls. I like to have the LCD screen to review the video clip and also when I hooked it up to my computer with the ieee 1394 cable the windows software popped up right away.

Pros: This camera is easy to use and has many features some of the other expensive ones have.Very good quality, light in weight and for me most important, connects to your computer. I would consider the ZR 80 to anyone.
