Permits one to pack an entire observatory on her back!
Pros: Portability, versatility, and quality

Review: The intelligent design of this unit allows for virtually unlimited applications. For example, my Micro Trekker 200 houses a super high quality Tele Vue APO telescope with close focus capability, a whole range of eyepieces, a 2.5x Powermate, and terrestrial and astronomical diagonals. An internal pocket houses a green laser pointer. The outer pocket houses a star chart and a dew shield, which doubles as a support for a Baader white light solar filter.
What does this all mean in the real world? It means that I have everything that I need on site when I need it, and can do the following at the drop of a hat. I can be an:
Astronomer.
Birder.
Study insects.
Do Solar observing.
Be an Educator (with Green Laser Pointer
and star charts).
All from the same back pack! But it gets even better because I could delete a piece or two of equipment if I know that it will not be required that day, and sub in a set of compact binoculars and a digital camera - the possibilities are endless.
This wonderful backpack also has other benefits. My portable observatory is all kept together in one tidy and well protected location. That means that there are not bits and pieces all over the house. Result? No clutter. Benefit? My wife is happy - and if she is happy, then I am happy too <G>!
Imagine - all that from one product! Is there any reason why you don't have one? It is totally worthwhile.
