"Great for outdoor photographs"
Pros: Inexpensive and compact for 10X optical zoom
Cons: Not a big fan of xD picture cards, the user's manual isn't very complete
Summary: First off, let me say that you should know how you're going to use a camera before you buy it. All digital cameras are not created equal and each have their uses (hopefully anyway).
I've had this camera for 9 months and have been very happy with the pictures. Virtually all of my pictures are outdoor / vacation pictures though. I was willing to use a tripod for long zoom shots to get wildlife photos. I don't use the camera indoors and cannot comment on the pro's / con's with using indoors.
I didn't like their choice of flash memory. It's a little harder to find card readers that support the xD format and it's more expensive than some of the more established formats (compact flash or secure digital for instance).
I can't complain about the battery life, but would suggest a second battery as a back-up. I also like that the camera kit included a seperate battery charger. Much better than charging the battery in the camera in my opinion.
I've printed quite a few and have been happy with both the 4"x6" and 8"x10" sizes. The CCD size ratio doesn't exactly match either format so some cropping may be required when printing (XP can do this for you, although sometimes it's better to have control).
